Transitional Care Hospital RNs Charlottesville, VA is Hiring Permanent Staff! Pay/Compensation Details:
Up to $43.
40/hr.
plus shift differentials.
Up to $15k in sign on bonusesUp to $5k in relocation assistance.
Responsibilities:
Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards.
Report and be accountable to the nurse manager/director, while coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.
Foster a learning environment for patient/families, nurses and other members of the healthcare team, including students.
Be accountable for safety, identify and correct problems, and integrate evidence and best practices into nursing care.
Engage in ongoing professional development.
Lead and coordinate teams, appropriately delegate, coordinate care and collaborate with others as equal members of the inter-professional care team to integrate nursing knowledge.
Qualifications:
Nursing degree/diploma required upon hire.
All registered nurses without a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or higher must obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire.
Unencumbered registered nurse (RN) license in Virginia.
Required by start.
Capable clinician, focused on expanding knowledge and skills.
Consistently provides effective direct care, as part of the interdisciplinary team, to a variety of complex patients.
Manages care and implements treatment plans at a refined skill level in collaboration with patients, their families, physicians and other members of the health care team.
Seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.
Assumes a beginning leadership role but seeks mentoring in this process.

-MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
Experience:
1 year of relevant experience.
Licensure:
Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSJob requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently walking, bending/stooping.
Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs.
May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
